Henry "Butch" J. Hughes

Henry J. “Butch” Hughes Jr. passed away on March 11, 2023 at the age of 76. Of Maple Shade, NJ. Beloved husband of Nancy Hughes (nee Trombetta). Devoted father of Robert T. Hughes (Tarra), Michele Chicano (James) and the late Michael H. Hughes. Adoring grandfather of Ashley, Michael, Robert Jr., Anthony, Alex, Thomas, Nicholas and Christopher. Caring great grandfather of seven. Dear brother of Lauretta Miller, William Hughes (Gail) and the late Patricia Graci. He will also be missed by many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.

 

Butch proudly served in the US Air Force during Vietnam and was a member of the Maple Shade VFW. He enjoyed playing cards, was an avid Philadelphia Sports Fan but most of all he cherished the time spent with family, especially his grandchildren.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday March 17th from 9-11 AM at the the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd, Maple Shade. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the NJ Veterans Memorial Home at Vineland, 524 North West Boulevard, Vineland NJ 08360
