Helen A. Tregl

Helen A. Tregl (nee Bernhauser) passed away after a brief illness on Sunday January 8th, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Philadelphia PA on October 5th, 1926, she was 96 and had resided in Cinnaminson NJ for 65 years. She worked for Acme Markets as a head cashier for 35 years before retiring in 1995. Upon retiring she worked part time at Hampton Inn for 10 years as breakfast concierge and enjoyed assisting guests. In life she enjoyed travelling the world with her family including cruises, visiting Disney World and international destinations. She was an avid book reader and lover of biographies as well as a collecting snowman. She loved dogs and enjoyed many years with her four-legged family members. Loving wife of the late Joseph Edward Tregl of 35 years, she is the beloved mother of Susan (Butch), Joseph (Patricia), Denise (Ernest and the late Joseph). Grandmother to Scott, Jeffrey, Kevin, Timothy and Wendy. Great Grandmother to Gage and Cecilia. Daughter of the late Adolph and Catherine Bernhauser, sister of the late Clara, Adolph, Mary and survived by her brother Norman (Jackie). Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Tuesday, January 17th from 10 am to 11 am at the Mark C. Tilghman Funeral Home, 38 North Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. Funeral service will follow at 11 am. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center (homewardboundnj.org)
