Gregory C. Gould

Gregory C. Gould, Age 63, of Maple Shade, NJ, passed away suddenly at home on December 28, 2022. Greg is survived by his loving wife, Donna (English); and cherished children Matthew, Lyndsey, and Sydney. Beloved son-in-law to John and Sandy English; brother-in-law to Kim English and Carol Gould. Dear uncle to Jess and Peter English and Matthew Gould. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Emma Gould, and his siblings Bill, Peggy, Linda, and Robbie. Greg was a lifetime resident of Maple Shade. He was known for his sense of humor and dedication to family. He was currently employed in the facilities department at Virtua Hospital in Camden where he kept the team laughing in the morning huddle. He was previously employed by Resorts Casino in Atlantic City for over 25 years. Greg’s biggest role in life was his dedication to his wife, children, in-laws, family and friends. Donna and Greg were married for 30 years, and he loved being a father. He was so proud of his adventurous son and his beautiful twin daughters. He enjoyed raising his children in his hometown of Maple Shade surrounded by many close friends. He treasured family time and relaxation in their happy place - Jim Thorpe, PA – it held a very special place in his heart. Fishing at Mauch Chunk Lake in Jim Thorpe was a favorite pastime where he enjoyed a long standing rivalry of “who caught the most” with his fishing buddy, Pat Booth. He was a big sports fan but most of all loved the Philadelphia Eagles. He was a member of the Happy Hour Club. One of his biggest passions was music – he enjoyed country music and singing karaoke, especially with his Myrtle Beach family on their annual vacation where he earned the nickname “Karaoke Greg.” He will be missed greatly but his loving presence will remain in our hearts. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Tuesday, January 3rd from 12 to 2 pm at the Mark C. Tilghman Funeral Home, 38 North Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. Funeral service will follow at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Donna Gould c/o Columbia Bank 353 E. Main St. Maple Shade, NJ on behalf of The Gregory Gould Memorial fund to benefit Matthew, Lyndsey and Sydney’s continued education.
