Frederick N. Simonsen

Frederick N. Simonsen 73 of Hammonton NJ formerly of Philadelphia passed surrounded by his loved ones on November 19th, 2024. Fred was born November 17, 1951 in Philadelphia to Olga and Frederick (Bernie) Simonsen. He is survived by his sister Nancy (Simonsen) Robinson.

Beloved husband of 54 years to Arleen F. (Natale) Simonsen, devoted father of Monique A. Downing and her husband Joseph. Grandfather of Madison and her husband Micah, Joey, Katrina, Brooke, and Ava. Great Grandfather to Alistair, Maddox, and Cassius. He will also be lovingly remembered by his nieces & nephews Troy, Paul, Lisa, Nancy, and Wayne as well as their families! 

Fred has always been a dedicated and hard-working man who even as the years stacked against him, not once let it hold him back from helping if you were in need. Fred was a retired union laborer out of Local 332. He loved working on his car, fishing, gaming, and watching the Eagles.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with his family on Friday, November 29th, 9:30AM- 11:30AM at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade.
