Evelyn R. Dougherty

Evelyn R. Dougherty (nee Burk) age 99 of Maple Shade passed away on Friday November 8, 2019. Born on March 28, 1920 in Muncy Valley,Pa. she was a resident of Maple Shade before retiring to Florida for 34 years , and moved back to Maple Shade 1 year ago. Evelyn was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. She enjoyed playing Bingo, cards, knitting and crocheting. The best times were spent with her loving family.

 

Beloved wife of the late Frank J. Dougherty, mother of the late John Dougherty, she is survived by her loving children James and his wife Cindy Dougherty, Frank, Jr. and his wife Janet Dougherty, 7 cherished grandchildren and 9 dear great grandchildren.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with her family on Tuesday, November 12th 10-11 am at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 2001 Springdale Rd., Cherry Hill. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am. Interment in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fl will be private.
