Eugene A. Adams

Eugene "Gene" A. Adams, lifelong Maple Shade resident, a cherished husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2024, at the age of 73. Born on April 15, 1950, in Philadelphia, to his late parents Theodore and Alice Adams. Gene, known for his kindness, handiness, and loving nature, left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him.

Gene's life was one of dedication and love, beginning with his marriage to his beloved wife, Grace (nee Stroemel), with whom he shared over 34 years of unwavering partnership and affection. He is survived by his loving son, Bryan and fiancé Madison.

A brother to many, Gene was the cherished sibling of Theodore Adams Jr. and his wife Ann, Joseph Adams and his wife Anne, Alice Gualano and her husband Chris, Gary Adams and his wife Valentina, the late Maureen Case, Michael Adams and his wife Denise, Glenn Adams and his wife Kimberly, Paul Adams and his wife Tina, Theresa Vassalotti and her husband Michael, and Andrew Adams and his wife Marie. His numerous nieces and nephews will fondly remember their Uncle Gene for his warmth and the wisdom he imparted.

Gene's professional life was marked by his commitment to his community, as evidenced by his many years of service as an Elections Poll Worker and role as the Past Secretary of the Maple Shade Town Watch. His dedication to service was further exemplified by his longstanding membership at OLPH Church in Maple Shade, where he was a familiar and welcoming presence.

A man of diverse interests, Gene had a passion for cars and auto racing. He could often be found with his Corvette at car shows and drag racing at Atco, activities that brought him immense joy and excitement. His involvement with the Corvette Club allowed him to share this passion with others who appreciated the thrill of speed and the camaraderie found within the community of racing enthusiasts.
