Elaine A. Gee (nee Kohl) of Maple Shade passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 30, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Elaine was born in Philadelphia on May 15, 1942 and was a lifelong resident of Maple Shade. She was co-owner along with her husband John of American Vending and Amusements, past president of the Jayceettes of Maple Shade and a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Maple Shade. Elaine was a wonderful cook and gardener, but her greatest joy was that of the role of mother and grandmother.
Beloved and devoted wife of 60 years to John Gee, loving mother of Kimberly (Glenn) Adams, Michelle (Lee) Collins, and John (Erin) Gee, cherished grandmother of Brittany Adams, Colin (Therese) Adams, Ryan (Allyson) Adams, Leon Collins, Tyler Collins, Connor Gee and Brendan Gee, proud great grandmother of Cassidy Harper Adams, Elaine was the daughter of the late William and Anna Kohl.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and gathering with her family on Wednesday morning, January 5, 2021, 9-11 am at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. Her funeral service will follow the viewing 11 am at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson. Memorial contributions in Elaine’s name would be appreciated to Samaritan Hospice @samaritannj.
