Elaine Finkelstein

Elaine Finkelstein (nee Cooperman) of Maple Shade passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021. She was 78 years of age. Born in the Bronx, NY, she was a lifetime resident of Maple Shade. Elaine worked in retail sales for JC Penney in the Cherry Hill Mall. She enjoyed needle point, trips to the casino and a good cup of coffee, her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

 

Beloved wife for 58 years of Ira Finkelstein, loving mother of Melissa (Leon) Santore and Russell (Dottie) Finkelstein, cherished grandmother of Elyssa (Tim) Sheridan, Robert Finkelstein, Sam Buckley, Jacob Finkelstein, Nina Santore, Leo Santore and Alexis Finkelstein, a great grand child coming soon, and mother of the late Stuart Finkelstein.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with her family on Wednesday evening, April 21st 5-7 pm at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade. A memorial service will take place at 7 pm following the visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Elaine’s name to Cares Foundation (Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia) @carefoundation.org  Social distancing will be in place and facial coverings are required.
