Edward G. Lynch, Sr.

Edward G. Lynch, Sr. age 83, of Mt. Laurel, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2018. Born in Maple Shade, he was a lifetime area resident. Ed retired as a union meat cutter, having worked at both Pantry Pride and Thriftway. He served in the US Marine Corp and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #5714.   Beloved husband of the late Shirley (nee Kelly) Lynch, dear father of the late Michael Lynch, loving father of Catherine (John) Schmidt, Eileen (Dave) Dessin, Edward Lynch, Jr. (Leigh Scanlon), cherished grandfather of Jennifer (Ted), Katie, John (Lauren) and Brittany, dear great grandfather of Alyson, Andrew and Parker.   Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and visitation with his family on Friday, June 22nd 7-9 pm at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade. Interment in Calvary Cemetery will be private.
