Douglas M. Phillips

Douglas M. Phillips, age 57 of Maple Shade passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2017. Born in Baltimore, he resided in Mt. Laurel before moving to Maple Shade. Doug was employed by Liberty Toyota in Burlington, and was formerly a police officer in Baltimore. He was past president of Maple Shade Baseball Association, formerly very active with Lenape Ice Hockey, and a former member of The Moorestown Rotary Club. Doug was an avid golfer.   Beloved husband of Joanne Phillips (nee Slusar), loving father of Ryan Phillips, also survived by his parents Jim and Joan Phillips, his brother Mike, his sister Suzanne, many nieces nephews, cousins and good friends.   Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing and visitation with his family on Friday, August 25th, 9-11 am at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade. Funeral service will follow at 11 am. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park.
