Dorothy M. Kearney

Dorothy M. Kearney of Erial, NJ passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2020. She was 85 years of age. She was born in Philadelphia on September 13, 1934 and resided there before moving to Erial, over 25 years ago. Dorothy was employed for many years at St. John Neumann Nursing Home in Philadelphia. She enjoyed trips to the casinos, and was very active with many senior citizen groups serving meals.

Daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Roos, Beloved mother of the late Mark Holzer, Michael Kearney, Bernard Kearny, and James Kearney, grandmother of the late Denise Bilger, Dorothy is survived by her loving children Dorothy Elliott and Edward Holzer, her cherished grandchildren Brian, Amanda, Michael, Candace, Caitlyn, and Jeannette, her dear great grandchildren, Johnny, Billy, Mark, Chris, Jake, Aubrey, Sophia, Nolan, Gavin, Lily and Caroline.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and visitation with her family on Tuesday, September 8th 9-11 am at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUENRAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade. Funeral service will follow at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Colestown Cemetery, Cherry Hill. Please no flowers at Dorothy’s request. Social distancing will be in place, facial coverings are required, visitors are asked to please return to their cars immediately after paying their respects.
