Clare F. Smith (nee Fink) age 86 of Daytona Beach passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., Clare had resided in Maple Shade for 37 years before moving to Marlton for 22 years and to Orlando and Daytona Beach, Florida 5 years ago. Clare was a homemaker and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help R.C. church.
Beloved wife of Edward Smith for 54 years before his passing in 2013, loving mother of Barbara A. (Michael) McCloskey, Richard J.(Paulette) Smith, Edward W.(Julia) Smith, Theresa M. (deceased) (Mark) Rykala, Daniel E.(Darlene deceased) Smith, and John E.(Lisa) Smith, dear grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of 9, also many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 12th at 11AM Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main St., Maple Shade. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and visitation with the family on Wednesday morning, June 12th 8:30-10:30 AM at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in Clare’s name to the Wounded Warriors Project@woundedwarriorproject.org
