Charles G. Seip, Jr. Of Maple Shade passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 77 years old. Born in Philadelphia on July 11, 1942, he was a longtime resident of Maple Shade. Charlie proudly served his country in the US Navy, and retired after over 30 years as an electrician at Drexel University. He enjoyed many hobbies including trips to the casinos, riding his motorcycle, art, stained glass and fishing. Charlie was known to many as Mr. Fixit. He dearly loved time spent with his grandchildren.
Beloved husband of Lorraine Seip (nee Young), devoted father of Nancy (Timothy) McMenamin, Cheryl (Robert) McQuade, Christine Stucke, Deborah Weber, Jennifer Robinson (Jeffrey), and Dana (Hector) Rodriguez, loving grandfather of Timothy, Jr., Megan, Kevin, Kayla, Corey, Erica, David, Rachel, Matthew, Ashley, Gavin and Brayden, cherished great grandfather of Avery and Timothy III, brother of Mary Couples and her husband Everett, Joyce Hahn and her husband Martin, and sister-in-law Catherine Seip, he was husband of the late Carole Seip (nee Boucher), and brother of the late William Seip, son of the late Charles and Olive Seip, also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be private due to the pandemic, a celebration of Charlie’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Charlie’s name to the Lymphoma Research Foundation @lymphoma.org.
