Charles E. Keller, Jr. age 66 of Maple Shade passed away On August 13, 2020, after fighting a long battle with lung cancer beginning December 2018. Born in Philadelphia on February 10, 1954, Charles was the son of the late Charles E. Keller and Loretta Keller (nee Gallagher), he is survived by his loving daughter Donna Gribok and son-in-law Brian Gribok, cherished granddaughters Claire and Margaret, his devoted son Charles E. Keller III and Danielle Rafferty, mother-in-law Violet Campbell, brothers-in-law Joseph and Robert Campbell and former spouse Donna Keller.
Charles was a longtime resident of North Wildwood, and was retired from his job as a driver with Rapid Rover. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and loved playing pinochle. He was 32 years sober, relished a good sandwich (particularly hoagies and cheesesteaks), and appreciated his sweets. Among his many attributes, he liked to talk to anyone and had a story for every situation, he did things under his terms and under his beliefs, was generous, strong willed and had a mental toughness about him. Charles enjoyed laughing and was happy to see others happy and enjoying themselves. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and spoiling his granddaughters.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 19th 11 am at Christ Our Light Church, 402 N. Kings Hwy, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Charles Keller, Jr name to Alcoholics Anonymous, @ http://contribution.aa.org
