Charles J. Ansert, Sr.

Charles J. Ansert, Sr. of Maple Shade passed away on Friday, May 3, 2019. He was 87 years old. Born in Philadelphia on July 23, 1931 he was a resident of Maple Shade for 60 years. Charles proudly served his country in the US Naval Reserves from 1955-58. He owned and operated Charles Ansert Auto Repair in Maple Shade for 36 years. Charles was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. He was fond of watching old western movies.  Beloved husband of the late Catherine Ansert, loving father of Theresa (George) Critchfield, Charles, Jr. (Karen) Ansert, Michael Ansert, Dennis (Eve) Ansert, Steven (Michele) Ansert, Mary Ann Ansert and Christopher (the late Roberta) Ansert, dear brother of Theresa Ferral, cherished grandfather of 14, and proud great grandfather of 22. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with his family on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 10 - 11:30 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main Street, Maple Shade. His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following the visitation at 11:30 am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association @heart.org, or the American Diabetes Association @diabetes.org.
