Cecilie "the Cev" E. McDonald

Cecilie E. “the Cev” McDonald nee Gallimore of Mt. Laurel passed away on Wednesday September 14, 2022. She was 77 years old. Born on August 25, 1945 in Reading, Pa she was formerly of Cinnaminson before moving to Mt. Laurel 18 years ago. Cecilie was employed by Virtua Health in Voorhees where she worked as a medical secretary. She dearly loved her family and friends, and particularly enjoyed her grandchildren and supporting them at sporting events and school functions. Cecilie took great pleasure playing board games during family get togethers.

 

Loving mother of Christine Smith and her husband John Keating, Michael McDonald and his wife Laurie, and Daniel McDonald and his wife Tracy, cherished grandmother of Sean Smith, Lindsay Smith, Michael Smith, Abigail McDonald, Daulton McDonald, Sara McDonald and Sami McDonald, Cecilie will also be missed by her cat Frisky.

 

 Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with her family on Monday, September 19th, 7-8:30 pm at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade.A memorial service for Cecilie will follow the visitation at 8:30 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made in her name to the ASPCA @aspca.org.
