Catherine B. Courtney

Catherine B. Courtney, age 96, of Maple Shade passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023. Having been born in Maple Shade, she was a lifelong resident. Catherine was very active in Our Lady of Perpetual Help RC Church for many years and lived her faith, having served as Eucharistic Minister to the Parish and as a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She also dedicated a lot of her time to helping with Meals on Wheels and the Leisure Club. Wife of the late Edward J. Courtney, Catherine is survived by three sons; Edward (Jennifer) of Hamilton, Glenn of Maple Shade, and Bob (Kathy) of Pittsboro, NC; a loving Grandmother of six; Brian (Kelly), Jeff (Marissa), Lisa Griffin (Clay), Amanda, Liam, Moira; and two cherished great-granddaughters, Everley and Amelia. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am, Friday, November 3rd at Our Lady of Perpetual Help R.C. Church, 236 E. Main St., Maple Shade. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park Cinnaminson. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 10 am until time of Mass at the Church. Memorial contributions may be made in Catherine’s name to Our Lady of Perpetual Help R.C. Church at the above address.
