Carol Sandra Levandoski

Carol Sandra Levandoski, died unexpectedly on January 3, 2023 at the age of 67. Carol was born on June 11, 1955 in Maple Shade, New Jersey.

Carol is survived and missed by her loving partner James Lucas of 27 years; her children, Francesca (Waylon) Nelson and Jonathan (Carolina) Nemo, and her grandson, Grey Nelson. Forever cherished and remembered by her 7 brothers and sisters: Andrew, Pauline, Anita, Dell, Gerard, Kathryn, and Charles, daughter of the late Pauline and Andrew.  She was dedicated to a life of selfless service to others and embodied many of the principles from a program she participated in and taught for decades. There isn’t anyone who knew her who could not tell a funny story involving Carol.  She is leaving behind so much joy, love, and laughter for us to enjoy and hold on to for years to come. A constant theme in her life was change; she didn’t always admit when she was wrong right away, but she was constantly trying to change and become a better version of herself.

Carol’s greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. She loved creating memories with her loved ones, calling her close girlfriends, checking in on her neighbors, and constantly helping those in need. She was a firm believer in honesty, and she would never back down from sharing her viewpoints and beliefs. She touched the lives of so many people, and she would love to be remembered with funny, strange, or silly stories that celebrate what was good and blessed in her life. Her legacy will carry on forever reminding us that we, too, must choose to live a life of meaningful acts of love and service.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with her family on Friday, January 20th, 6-8 pm at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. Memorial service will be follow at 8 pm.
