Carol A. Kerr

Carol A. Kerr (nee Barr) of Maple Shade passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, February 14, 2019. She was 79 years old. Born on December 3, 1939 in Philadelphia, she was a longtime resident of Maple Shade before moving to Lakehurst, N.J. and then moved back to Maple Shade. While residing in Maple Shade, Carol worked as the parish secretary at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society, a Eucharistic Minister, Lector, and a member of the church choir. After moving to Lakehurst, she became a parishioner of St. John's Roman Catholic Church. Carol enjoyed spending time with her family, and her much loved grandchildren. Beloved wife of Ronald J. Kerr, Sr., loving mother of Regina Scola, Ronald Jr. (Jinni), Kevin (Lori), dear sister of Carla Barr and the late Patricia Downs, cherished grandmother of 9 and adoring great grandmother of 2. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with her family on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, 10 -11 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main Street, Maple Shade. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following the visitation at 11 am. Interment will follow at NJ veteran's cemetery.
