C. Doris Rathgeb

C. Doris Rathgeb (nee Schuck) of Maple Shade passed away peacefully on January 11, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was 90 years old. Born in Philadelphia on September 30, 1931, she had resided in Maple Shade since 1949. Doris had been retired from Renwick and Associates in Maple Shade and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. She was a former member of the Altar Rosary Society and PTA at OLPH. Doris was an avid reader, liked to  cross stitch, sew and enjoyed walking, but above all cherished time spent with her family. 

 

Beloved wife of the late John "Sher" Rathgeb, loving mother of Barbara Rathgeb, the late Janet Mastrangelo, the late Edward Rathgeb, the late James Rathgeb, mother-in-law of Tom Mastrangelo and Meg Rathgeb, cherished grandmother of 10 and dear great grandmother of 9, devoted sister of Joan (Leroy) Wiest, Donald (Barbara) Schuck and the late Pat (John Deveney), Doris is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

 

Funeral services will be held on Friday January 21, 2022, 11 am at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and visitation with her family on Friday morning 9-11 am at the funeral home. Interment will be in the NJ Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main Street, Maple Shade, NJ 08052. Facial masks will be required.
