August "Gus" Muller, Jr.
August Muller, Jr. of Pennsauken passed away on Tuesday April 4, 2023. He was 83 years old. He was born on June 16, 1939 in Philadelphia to the late August and Ida Muller. Gus was a US Navy Veteran, having proudly served his country during the Vietnam War and also had served in the Naval Reserves for 29 years. He was a retiree from the US Postal Service, a long career as a civil servant.
Beloved husband of Dolores Muller (nee Opiela) for 33 years, loving father of August IVth (Laurel) Muller, Natasha (James) Watson, Larissa (Gary) Fersterer, dear step-father of Thomas (Jill) Glodowski and Richard Glodowski, cherished grandfather of August Vth (Elizabeth), Christian, Brayden, Reagan and Evan, step-grandfather of Matthew (Amanda), Brian (Lauren), Mark (Erica), Tyler and Kaylee, step-great grandfather of Weston and Ryland.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and visitation with his family on Friday, April 14th 9-10:30 am at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. Funeral service will follow at 10:30 am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler, Pa. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gus's memory to The Wounded Warrior Project @warriorproject.org
