Paul S. Alday, Jr. of Pennsauken passed away on April 16, 2017. Born in Camden, he was 86 years old, and a lifetime area resident. Paul graduated from Drexel University with a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He retired after many years with the U.S. Postal Service and Campbell Soup. He was a longtime member of the Maple Shade Congregational Church. Beloved husband of Ethel Alday (nee O'Connor), loving father of Amy Jane (Thomas) Murray, Sarah Jean (John) Salerno, dear daughter-in-law Carolyn Alday, cherished grandfather of Daniel (Jennifer) Alday, Matthew (Kirsten) Alday, Catlin (Doug) McCardell, Cara Salerno and Michael Murray, proud great grandfather of Adaline, dear cousin of Judith Schust, predeceased by his beloved son Paul S. Alday, III. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and visitation with his family on Friday, April 21, 2017, 10-11 am at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade. Funeral service will follow at 11 am. Interment will be in Locustwood Memorial Park.
