Santos A. Alicea, Sr. of Maple Shade passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on April 12, 2017. He was 75 years old. He was born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico, and was a longtime resident of Maple Shade. Santos was a cook at many landmark restaurants in the area and was a member of the Maranatha Christian Fellowship Church in Moorestown. Beloved husband of Lydia Alicea (nee Floyd), devoted father of Santos, Jr. (Amy) Alicea, Miguel N. (Yvette) Alicea, and Maria E. (Dave) Howe, dear grandfather of 8, and proud great grandfather of 2, also survived by many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews in Puerto Rico, dear brother-in-law of Blanche (George, Sr.) Burnham. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and visitation with his family on Saturday, April 22nd, 9-11 am at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade. Funeral service will follow at 11 am. Interment will be private.
