Anna R. Brubaker

Anna R. Brubaker age 99, sixteen days short of 100 passed peacefully on October 13, 2016. Born in Philadelphia, she moved to Maple Shade at the age of 6, where she grew up with brothers Harry, William, Charles, Stewart and Robert. Anna married her high school sweetheart Jesse Brubaker. They became active members of the community and church. A devoted mother, Anna loved sharing her summer home in Ocean City with family and friends. She enjoyed body surfing until age 80. Anna will be remembered for her home cooked meals, sense of humor and kindness to everyone who entered her life. Anna is survived by sons Donald and Robert and his wife Sandi, grandchildren Brett, Scott and Leigh Ann and great grandchildren Jacob and Katelyn. Anna's funeral service will be held on Wednesday October 19th, 11 am at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and visitation with her family on Tuesday evening, 7-9 pm and Wednesday morning 10-11 am at the funeral home.
