Frank J. Tischner

Frank J. Tischner of Philadelphia, PA died on September 12, 2016, at Penn Presbyterian Hospital. He was born in Collingswood, NJ on January 26, 1948. He was raised in Cinnaminson, NJ, and lived in Shamong, NJ for a number of years. Frank was predeceased by his parents Frank Tischner and Marie Tischner and his brother Gregory Tischner, He is survived by his children, Colleen Tischner, and Frank Tischner, from his marriage to Eileen Tischner; his siblings, Kenneth Tischner (Lynne), Steven Tischner, Jeanne Walter (Jack), Linda Marshall (Rich), Nancy Frett (Stephen), and Joyce Tischner; as well as many nieces and nephews. Frank was an avid Eagles football fan, and never missed a game. He was self-employed, and ran his own roofing and construction company for many years. He was a very hard worker, and took pride in his craft. He enjoyed spending time with his family, eating good food, and of course, watching football. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and visitation with his family on Friday, September 16, 2016 9-11 am, followed by his funeral service at 11 am, at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade, NJ.
