Katherine R. Sokowski

Katherine R. Sokowski (nee Severns) of Cherry Hill formerly of Maple Shade passed away on May 28, 2016. She was 72 years old. Born in Abington, Pa. she resided in Maple Shade for 48 years before moving to Cherry Hill last year. Katherine was a teachers aide for the Maple Shade School District for 30 years, and a longtime member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Loving mother of Susan Sokowski and Sandra Sokowski , cherished grandmother of John and Ava, wife of the late Stanley Sokowski and dear grandmother of the late Kevin. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and visitation with her family on Friday June 3rd 10-11 am at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade. Her funeral service will follow at 11 am. Interment will be in Colestown Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 26 S.
