Joseph A. Ciminera age 73, of Maple Shade, passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 3, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Philadelphia, he was a resident of Maple Shade for 46 years. Joe retired from Local #1050 Carpenters Union after 53 years. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus Council # 5714, and the Ancient Order of Hiberians. Son of the late Anthony and Hortense Ciminera, brother of the late John, grandfather of the late John Bergman, Jr., beloved husband of Dolores "Dee" Ciminera (nee Viehmeyer), loving father of Joanne Ciminera, Carolyn Bergman, and Donna (Frank) Forant, dear brother of Mary (the late Joseph) Dick, cherished grandfather of Jennifer Ensign, Joseph Devlin, Anamarie Bergman and Ryan Bergman, adoring great grandfather of Aaden Murphy, also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday May 7th, 10 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main St., Maple Shade. Interment will be in Locustwood Memorial Park.
