Anna Mae "Sis" Powell

Anna Mae "Sis" Powell of Maple Shade passed away on April 7, 2016. She was 85 years old. Born in Philadelphia, she was a resident of Maple Shade for 65 years. Sis was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. She worked for the Board of Elections for many years and was a County Committee Woman for District 10 for 35 years. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Powell, who passed away last year, dear mother of the late Joseph and Maryanne, loving mother of Susan Powell, Michael (Robin) Powell, Bill (Debbie) Powell, Sharon (Jim) Gauntt and Dennis (Kira) Powell, cherished grandmother of Chrissy, Denise, Joseph, Billy Joe, Jennifer, Scott, Breanna, Cody, Jimmy, Casey, Brady, Autumn, Jordan and Darian, proud great grandmother of 6, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and visitation with her family on Monday evening April 11th, 6-9 pm and Tuesday morning 9-10:30 am at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 12th, 11 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main St., Maple Shade.
