Margaret (Peg) T. Harty

Margaret "Peg" T. Harty (nee White) of Maple Shade passed away peacefully on December 5, 2015. She was 86 years old. Born in Philadelphia, she was a lifelong resident of Maple Shade. Peg was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and a member of the Altar Rosary Society, a member of South Jersey Footlighters, Ramblewood 9 Holers, LaMartinique Bowling League, Atco Senior Citizens and the Red Hat Society. She was the number one fan of all her children, the Philadelphia Eagles, the Philadelphia Phillies and Notre Dame. Beloved wife of the late Vincent, mother of the late Peggy Ann Ober, daughter of the late James and Kathryn White, she is survived by her loving children, Kathryn (Rick) Iovine, Trisha (Kevin) Gibbons, Regina (Bob) Mulvenna, Bernadette (Garry) Harty-Cummins, Mary Kay (Jim) Perone, Vincent John Harty III, and Jamie Harty-Griffin, dear grandmother of 16 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren, also many nieces and nephews, and sister of the late Kitty Bonucci and Rita Hasenmayer. Relatives and friends are invited to Mrs. Harty's viewing and visitation with her family on Tuesday, December 8th, 7-9 pm and Wednesday morning 8:30-9:30 at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, 10 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main St., Maple Shade. Interment will be in New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heartland Hospice, 190 N. Evergreen Ave., Suite 122, Woodbury, NJ 08096.
