James F. Gee, Jr. of Maple Shade passed away on Sunday September 13, 2015. He was 77 years old. Born in Philadelphia, he was a resident of Maple Shade since 1963. Jim was a retired truck driver having worked for St. Johnsbury Trucking and a member of Local #676 in Collingswood. Jim was a US Marine Corp Veteran and long time parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Jim coached CYO baseball and was past president of Maple Shade Soccer Club. He was also a former member of the Maple Shade Jaycees. Beloved husband of Mary Gee (nee Campbell), devoted and loving father of Mary (Thomas) Carbone, James (the late Sandy) Gee, Daniel (Karen) Gee, Thomas (Kathy) Gee, Susan (Clint) Kelly, cherished grandfather of Nicole (Thomas) McGarvey, Andrew, Juliann, Victoria, Tara, CJ and Evan, dear brother of William (Kathleen) Gee, Richard (Susan) Gee, brother-in-law of Margaret (the late Jay) Fretz, and Nancy (the late Gerald) McDonald, son of the late James, Sr. and Anna Mae, brother of the late Wallace. Relatives and friends are invited to Jim's viewing and visitation with his family on Thursday, September 17th 6-9 pm and Friday 9:30 - 10:30 am at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade. His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Friday, September 18th - 11 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main St., Maple Shade.
