Victor J. DeMaise passed away on June 27, 2015. Victor was born in South Philadelphia and moved to New Jersey as he was employed with The RCA Corporation in Camden, New Jersey. Currently he was a resident of Maple Shade, New Jersey. A decorated World War ll Veteran, Mr. DeMaise served in the famed 8th Air Force, completing a tour of missions with the 390th Bomb Group. Upon discharge from service, he raised a family of three children with his wife Ernestine, settling in Willingboro, New Jersey. He was employed as a Technician and later as a Technical Writer with RCA, retiring after 34 years. He also owned and operated a Pizza Restaurant in Willingboro and after selling the business, he retired for a second time. An avid baseball fan, Mr. DeMaise assisted in organizing the first Willingboro National Division Little League, serving as coach, manager and past president of the league. He was a charter member and past Exalted Ruler of Edgewater Park Elks Lodge 2550, a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4914, a life member of the Knights of Columbus Council 5337 and veteran member of the 390th Bomb Group, based in Tuscon, Arizona. Mr. DeMaise is survived by his son, Victor DeMaise and his wife Nina, a daughter Donna Evans and her husband Robert. He was predeceased by his daughter Angela DeMaise. Victor was also predeceased by his second wife Shirley Arey DeMaise and is survived by his step children, Thomas Arey and his wife Regina, Joanne McNamee and Tammy Kirby and her husband Scott. Victor is survived by his eight grandchildren, Victor, Christopher, James, Regina, Amanda, Timothy, Sarah, and Katie. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren. Victor is also survived by his grandchildren in the Arey family, Brendan, Patrick, Thomas, Samantha and Katie. Victor also survived by his sister Marie Giorla and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, July 3rd 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 East Main Street, Maple Shade, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and visitation with his family on Friday morning 10:00-11:00 AM at the church. Interment will be private.
