Robert R. Bernath

Robert R. Bernath age 88 of Maple Shade passed away on June 17, 2015. Born in Philadelphia, Pa. he was a resident of Maple Shade for 45 years. Bob served in the Navy during WWII in Okinawa and retired from Philadelphia Electric Company after 38 years of service. Beloved husband for 64 years of Bertha Bernath (nee) Cottman, loving father of Wayne (Peggy) Bernath, Bruce (Donna) Bernath, Nancy (Craig) Silverman and Carol (Joseph) Kingsmore, cherished grandfather of 10 and adoring great grandfather of 8. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and visitation with his family on Saturday, June 20th, 9-11 am at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade, N.J. Bob's funeral service will begin at 11 am at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park.
