August "Gus" Haenn

August "Gus" Haenn age 92 of Maple Shade passed away peacefully on April 6, 2015 at Care One of Moorestown. Born in Philadelphia, Gus moved to Maple Shade in 1953. He served in the Merchant Marines during World War II. Gus was a chef at the former Cinelli's Country House Restaurant in Cherry Hill for many years before retiring. He enjoyed square dancing and was a member of the Wagon Wheel Square Dance Club. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Haenn (nee Yenger), brother of the late Albert and Emma, loving father of Marion (Albert) Rolke, cherished grandfather of Albert (Dolly), Edward (Colleen), Robert, James (Kathleen), and Richard (Jennifer) Rolke, proud great grandfather of six, one niece, one nephew, one great niece, and four great nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with his family on Sunday evening 6:30-7:00 pm at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd, Maple Shade.
