Irvin R. Johnson,Sr,age 93,of Cream Ridge passed away Friday September 12, 2014. Born in Colliers Mills, Mr Johnson was a lifetime area resident.Irv was a self-employed plumber and retired from the Plumsted Twp recreation department and was a longtime member of the New Egypt Fire Co. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Husband of the late Gertrude(nee)Halpin Johnson. Brother of the late Florence Connor,his twin sister Eva Conk,Fred Johnson,William Johnson and Norman"Gabby"Johnson. Father of Irvin R."Sonny"Johnson,Jr(Bonnie Medeiros),Richard (Dawna)Johnson,6 grandchildren,5 great-grandchildren,and several nieces and nephews,also survived by dear friends Stu and Dolores Rueben. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2014, 12 noon at the Peppler Funeral Home 114 S.Main St.,Allentown,NJ with Pastor Frank Watson officiating. Interment Zion Cemetery. Viewing and Visitation with the family will be Tuesday 10am until service time at the Funeral Home.
