Mary Mendryk

Mary (nee Kozel) Mendryk of Maple Shade age 92, life's wish of dying at home came to fruition on June 23, 2014. Mary retired from Siemens, but remained busy in service to others, via many volunteer activities. What especially gave her great joy was visiting residents of nursing homes with Sister Theresa. She was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and the Altar Rosary Society and was also a member of TOPS. Mary and her late husband Stanley were active members of VFW Post #2445. Mary lived life to it's fullest and found happiness in giving a helping hand to all who reached out. She had a smile for everyone and an interest in their lives. She is survived by daughters Christine Paone, Maryann (Ken) Atkins, 4 grandchildren and their spouses, 1 1/2 great granddaughters, cousins Helen Lucas, Sue Stevens and many friends and neighbors who were like family to her. Mary's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday June 28th, 11 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help R. C. Church, 236 E. Main St., Maple Shade. Interment will be in Calvary cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with her family on Saturday 10-11 am at the church.
