Harold Dix

Harold "Dixie" Dix, age 95 of Deptford and formerly of Maple Shade for many years, passed away on Monday February 17, 2014. Beloved husband of Alice (nee Shontz) Dix, loving father of Harold (Nancy) Dix of Maple Shade, Dorothy (Robert) Cusano of Deptford, cherished grandfather of Stacey Dix of Maple Shade, Shelby (Paul) Naso of Bensalem,Pa, Allison (Darren) Smith of Sicklerville, and Darren (Lynda) Cusano of Mantua, dear great grandfather of Kayla Smith and Brynn Cusano. Harold was a bus driver for TNJ for 45 years. He served his country in the US Army during World War II. Harold was a 25 year member of the Palmyra String Band, a member of the Maple Shade- Moorestown Lodge #281 F.&A.M., a life member of the Maple Shade VFW #2445 and a member of the Maple Shade Congregational Church. Mr. Dix funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st, 12pm at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and visitation with the family on Friday 10-12pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Colestown cemetery.
