Michael J Quintus

Michael J. Quintus age 62 of Maple Shade passed away on Monday January 27, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Philadelphia where he resided until moving to Maple Shade 21 years ago. He worked for Cannon Financial Services in Mt. Laurel and was formerly employed by PGW in the accounting department for 30 years. Mike was a parishioner and an usher at Our Lady of Perpetual Help R.C. church. He was a Cardinal Dougherty alumni, and a member of the Malrton Elks. Mike enjoyed coaching his daughters in softball and basketball both in Philadelphia and Maple Shade. Son of the late Mathias and Eleanor Quintus, loving father of Sandra (Stephen) Sabo, Marcella (Felix) Shyllon, and Lynne Therese (Matthew) Chapin, cherished brother of Jeanne (Louis) Macaluso, Andrew (Christine) Quintus, Janet (Antonio) Mannello and Steven (Debra) Quintus, proud grandfather of Abigail Sabo and Joseph Shyllon, his significant other Pat Pownall, and his aunt Margaret Pollina, also many nieces and nephews and close friends. Michael's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday January 31st, 11am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help church, 236 E. Main St., Maple Shade. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and visitation with his family on Thursday evening, 5-9pm at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade, also from 10am until the time of the Mass on Friday at the church.
