Dear Friends of Al Torgan: Thank you for your kind words and support during this difficult time for our family. Dad/Al suffered from Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA). With PPA, we slowly watched Dad/Al lose the ability to communicate with us. Despite that, he continued to be a wonderful, kind, loving friend, husband, father, and grandfather. He was loved by everyone he touched. We will be celebrating his life in the Spring with a picnic near Washington's Crossing. One of the activities that Berrie and Al did successfully together was a painting class at the Community Art Center in Wallingford, PA. Also, we are grateful that Nancy found a "camp" (adult daycare) that took excellent care of Dad/Al at the worst of times. A special thanks for Robin Harrison who welcomed Dad/Al and Nancy with loving arms into this caring community. Dad's personal assistant - Gwen Williams - was amazing at caring and interacting with Dad and we will be forever grateful to her. If you need an excellent elder caregiver give her a call at GG's Confident Care - 856-522-3748.
