Mary A Delany

Mary A. (nee Furey) Delany age 84 of Maple Shade passed away peacefully on Monday, October 28, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Philadelphia, she has been a resident of Maple Shade for 60 years. Mary was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help R.C. Church, a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and the Senior Citizens Club of OLPH. Mary was also a member of the Maple Shade Leisure Club, Topps, AARP, Cherry Hill Maturity Club and the Pennsauken Jets. Beloved wife of the late Thomas P. Delany, Sr., loving mother of Thomas Delany, Jr. and his wife Linda, of Maple Shade, Miriam Scott and her husband Ronald of Delran, Hugh Delany and his wife Kathleen of Little Egg Harbor, Daniel Delany and his wife Gail of Tatamy,PA, Bruce Delany and his wife Janine of Lumberton, Gregory Delany and his wife Robin of Maple Shade, Maureen Magee and her husband Stephen of Voorhees, Rodger Delany of Westampton, and Patrick Delany and his wife Jennifer of Lumberton, dear sister of Theresa Buzby of Phila., proud grandmother of 21 and cherished great grandmother of 16. Relatives and friends are invited to Mary's viewing and visitation with the family on Wednesday evening, October 30th, 6-9 pm and Thursday morning, 8:30-9:30 am at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, 10 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main St., Maple Shade. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
